Stayed here in February for 8 days and had a super time. Incredibly friendly welcome from Frank who showed us round and how everything worked. Place was easy to find and had fantastic views over Noordhoek marshes with the sea in the distance. The balcony was a beautiful place to sit after breakfast to enjoy the view and to watch the sun go down. We stayed in the Kakahari Room on the corner of the building. It was a spacious room with a big and very comfortable bed and lovely patio where we sat and relaxed a lot! Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Loved it. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

We enjoyed the quite neighborhood. We were thrilled to hear the Cape Eagle Owl 2 mornings, and the Southern Boubou. Several good restaurants around. We ate at the Red Herring a lot. The Guesthouse also does Beautiful meals. This is a Great Place for Sunsets. Several times over 2 weeks we sat the Sun go into the ocean. Most nights there is great sunset color.

Alles war perfekt. Die Lodge liegt sehr ruhig und man hat einen super Ausblick auf die Berge und den Strand. Unser Zimmer und die Aufenthaltsräume waren sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten nette Gespräche mit Michael, dem Inhaber und Frank, dem Verwalter und konnten uns mit allen Anliegen an die Beiden wenden. Mit dem leckeren, frisch zubereiteten Fühstück hat jeder Tag gut angefangen. Wir kommen wieder:

We have stayed at Wild Rose a couple of times in the last three years and it is an Oasis for us each time we visit. Tranquility and charm in an informal setting, comfortable and romantic rooms and perfect hosting from Frank and his team. Thank you for having us to stay, we can't wait to see you again in 2018.

Our second stay at Wild Rose delighted as much as the first time. Comfortable, thatch roofed farmstyle house with large garden and fantastic views over the horsey farmlands below and magnificent sunsets from the balcony. The staff were very attentive and remembered us from our first stay 18 months ago! The home-cooked breakfasts were delicious which we ate either in the large diningroom/lounge next to the balcony or in the adjoining cozy bar/lounge with open fire in the fireplace. We love the home atmosphere which the owners, Rose and Mike, have created, including sharing their cute dogs with us. We stayed in the Kalahari Room both times. Very comfortable; spacious; and probably the best combination of privacy (as it's at the end of the passage) plus views (as it looks towards the sea so one gets the fantastic sunsets). The owners and staff really went the extra mile for us this time as we inadvertently left our suitcase behind. They phoned us as soon as they found it; kept it safe for us; and took it half way to Cape Town City for us so that a friend could transport it back to Knysna for us. Hugely appreciated. This kind of personal service and care is rare. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, we could only stay in this beautiful lodge for only one night - we would have loved to extend our stay! Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom was huge. The view is awesome! We felt very welcomed and the manager was very helpful. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay Wild Rose Country Lodge. We enjoyed every second we spent at this beautiful Guest House. Breakfast was great and the staff were so helpful.. from the Front Manager Frank to the owners (Rose and Michael). Will definitely come back and recommend Wild Rose to our friends :)

We had a fabulous time in SA, ending at Wild Rose Country Lodge for a wedding we were attending. A real African feel to the lodge and a warm welcome by the owners and staff. Frank was a star and looked after us so well! Great location to visit Simons Bay, Bolders Beach and Cape Point. Would definitely go back again!

We arrived to be welcomed by the Manager (Frank). He was lovely. Our room was gorgeous with a huge bathroom with bath and large shower. Rose and Michael were around a lot of the time and they were both very friendly and could not do enough to help and advise us where to visit. I would recommend this Lodge and would certainly stay there on our next visit to Noordhoek.
